In order to establish a mortgage, you will need first to complete the mortgage application form on this website with as much information as possible. Feel free to print the form and complete it by hand, if you wish, or else complete it on line and send it directly to us.

The form gives enough information for us to establish whether or not you are likely to be granted a mortgage.

If you decide to proceed and make a formal application to the bank, the Bank will require the following documents to support the request:

All applicants:

A photocopy of your Passport details.
and Confirmation that you maintain a current bank account (a bank reference).
and Copies of three months' bank statements

Note - if your bank or building society will not provide a simple written reference, please supply your full bank branch contact details, together with your bank account number - the bank in Cyprus will make the request directly.


Employed applicants:

A letter from your employer specifying your professional status, length of service and gross annual income
or Copies of your last three salary slips and most recent P60

Self-employed applicants:

Photocopies of last two year’s certified balance sheets and profit & loss accounts
or A letter from your Accountant confirming that he/she has checked your accounts and also confirming your income for the lat three years.

Retired applicants:

Statements of regular income from pensions
Statements of regular income from investments
Statements of other regular income e.g. rents


If you cannot visit Cyprus immediately, the bank will accept photocopies that have been faxed or scanned copies sent via e-mail.

All information provided will be held in strict confidence and will only be used by the bank in Cyprus for mortgage application purposes.
